The city of Merida, Mexico has changed a lot in the past year – like a lot!

A beautification project has brought about the new amazing La Plancha park, the yummy Corredor Gastronómico de Mérida on Calle 47, and the old train station has now turned into art studios for the students of the new Universidad de las Artes de Yucatán.

And believe me, the changes are great, but what was lost in the process was some really cool, playful street art that adorned the walls of the old train station. We believe that this artwork needs not to be forgotten because, frankly, it brought us and lots of other folks – JOY!
